Peter collects old appliances and builds them together to make his ‘Mechanical armor suit’. He has a studio website called Brooklyn RobotWorks. He designs and builds exoskeletal based costumes of famous robot characters. His incredible work includes the suit inspired by Transformers character. He brings life to famous characters from science fiction.
These costumes are detailed and complex suits of armor. Each and every costume is unique in its own way. It takes hundreds of hours to build these extraordinary costumes. They are of course not light weight. They weigh from 140 to over 170 pounds. He builds his high-tech robot costumes on his kitchen table which is his favorite spot. Peter gives second life to all the discarded objects like lanterns strainers sunglasses etc.
He not only builds them but also performs cosplay at both public and private functions. He also performs on various events like promotions videos films parades comic cons and parties. He also wears them around the New York City area. All his characters are visually stunning and are able to fully pose move and interact. He says “I create memories. Let me help to make your event successful. You won’t believe your eyes!”

Being a fan of his own work he says that he looks for complexity in everyday objects. He adds that he uses his creative eyes and tries to see what potential the object has and what other useful things can be done with the same object to be used as something else.
Peter Kokis tries to recollect his memory on how all this started or where this idea came from but to no vain. It has become a big thing in his life and now he in unstoppable. We hope that you also get inspired by his work and do something for this nature in the near future.
