Aldi Hires Pro Gamers To Kill Kids In Online Games
McCann UK provided a new online service in which parents can call and fix up pro gamers who will enter their kid’s game online and “take them down”. Aldi’s main motive was to make the gaming obsessed kids leave their games and spend some quality time with their parents.
They select a group of excellent gamers who take kids down in the video games so that they can have dinner with their family. Because of this idea of Aldi, parents can finally have some time with their children.

Online gaming has become popular in recent times only, you cannot pause online games and can continue to play until the match is over or you are not eliminated by someone. Aldi plans to eliminate the kids during their dinner time so that a mere game would not ruin the precious time they should spend with their family.
For all these reasons, Aldi created this service and wrote, “now they’ll have no excuse not to be at the table when dinner’s ready.” Aldi UK kept it very simple for parents to access their website and enlisted all the gamers having desirable qualities.
All one needs to do is sign up on their website between March 12- March 31. There are some specified timings in which these “takedowns” will take place like between 5 pm to 8:30 pm on the date chosen by a parent, or between 12 pm to 8 pm on March 31 that is Mother’s Day.
Group director of marketing and communications at Aldi UK, David Hills, said, “At Aldi, we understand the importance of family mealtimes, but know how tough it can be to get everyone together. From suggesting family-friendly recipes to offering Teatime Takedowns, we’re committed to helping parents on their journey to reclaiming that all-important family time”.
All Aldi is needed to have a kid’s gamer tag so that the pro gamers can join the right games. Aldi, through this campaign, took the responsibility to give the younger generation true values and much-needed family time by his innovative idea. We hope more and more children spend more time with their families through Aldi UK’s campaign.
