Coronavirus Got This Love Island Star Back To Her Roots
Anna Vakili, a pharmacist by training had quit her job to try her luck in the television industry. The 29-year-old charmed everyone when she appeared on a well-known dating show Love Island that streamed on ITV2. The ordinary girl turned celebrity had gained a lot of popularity from her stint on the show. However, because of the ongoing monstrous crisis, she made up her mind to take a U-turn for somewhere she had long moved past from.
She was thrilled to have been back and religiously did all her duties as a pharmacist ranging from her basic tasks to motivating and giving advice to the general public. She shared with her fans how surprised she felt thinking that it had almost been an entire year since the show that gave her stardom and changed her entire world, ended. And how different things are now from what she had imagined a year ago.
Anna further added that she had no plans of working as a pharmacist again but at this point of desperate and dire need, she felt compelled to return to her basics. The new member of the anti- corona army also paid justice to what we just called her by motivating her followers to stay at home, for the good of the world.
Vakili even disclosed that she was not really interested in being a pharmacist. But being born in a Middle Eastern family, she did not have sufficient options. She went ahead and added that her family was quite strict when it came to academics. Therefore, she had to devote five whole years of her life to get trained and acquire her degree as a pharmacist. And even whilst all these long years of hardcore training, she never felt at peace with her career option, as if it was just not her thing.
The celebrity cum pharmacist is not the only one from the show to return to their original professions. Doctor Alex George, another star from the same show has too commenced his journey to combat the novel Coronavirus and is now all geared up to do his bit for the society. George is quite active on the social media and is constantly updating his fans about the route and tactics of the pandemic.
Another participant from the show who joined the squad against the deadly virus was soon unfortunately detected positive for the same. Rachel Fenton who had been working as a nurse in an orthopedic clinic informed her fans that she like many others across the globe had contracted the disease, COVID-19. The 27-year-old shared with her fans that unlike what is commonly being circulated; her primary symptoms included not a high temperature or cough but just tiredness and loss of taste and olfactory sensations.
As of now, Rachel is in the isolation ward and we pray that she and all those suffering with the disease heal real soon.
