So to keep ourselves from dying hungry, we chose alternate careers no matter how bad we wanted to become a professional gamer because our current professional field is where all the money is. None of us has been as blessed as this 16-year-old kid Jordan Herzog aka Crimz whose dad Dave Herzog took him out of school to help him focus on his dream, reports the Boston Globe. The junior Herzog was withdrawn from his regular school of Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High the previous year against his mother’s will.

However, due to the legal angles, he still has to take online classes for a few hours daily but the majority of his time is spent playing arcade games. The 49-year-old Dave has spent over $30000 and has even put the family vacation on hold to arrange for all the equipment his son would need. “My only wish is to slay and make enough money without running out of flesh and blood,” said Jordan. While his father who already saw the trend coming in some years ago feels this to be the best career option for his son.

However, there seems to be a little problem the young man hardly gets any time to enjoy with his family and has to finish his meals alone by the computer. It was also reported that his father barred him from going out to play tennis with his mother. This intense schedule has brought many people to criticize Dave while some are applauding his commitment. As per the recent update, Jordan feels his dad has been highly misunderstood.

He adds that his dad never stopped him from playing tennis or going out, it was just a day when his schedule was clashing and his dad knew what was best for him. “Not eating at the family dinner table is entirely my choice since I wanted to watch Youtube and chat with my teammate”.
