‘Dark Souls’ Player Gets Soaked With Blood Every Time He’s Hit In-Game
A code taken down in Python detects his character’s health in Dark Souls 3 and when his health deteriorates an indication is sent to the Raspberry Pi board. This instructs the air compressor to open allowing air into the bottle and forcing blood out of the duct in the bottle and into Alex’s face.
He improved the machine with an easy mode and a hard mode. “Easy mode” sprinkled (fake) blood every time he died whereas “hard mode” sends out a whole lot of blood at Alex for every damage it did to his health. Dark Souls 3 was considered a really difficult game. People used to rarely win in it. Because of the pressure to win Alex put all his energy into the game which ultimately made him tired by the end of his play session.
Watching him playing with utmost concentration and the discomfort building up as his shirt gets redder and redder was very enjoyable. Even after all the efforts he was not able to complete the stage of the initial area that you explored at the start of the game. He kept his safety goggles on which was practical but they were covered with fake blood. He also criticized the adhesive and greasy controller which troubled him during the time he was playing. Alex had to stop playing because the liquid gets into his eye which irritated his contact lenses. The real task was to finish the game in one go. Salute to the ones who played this game.
In the video he was seen standing over with saliva dripping out from his mouth when he finally completed the mission successfully. He asked the viewers to subscribe hit the like and follow button. At last he said that he did not know what the maker of the game is planning to invent further but he was sure that it would be funny at his own expense.
