Fortnite Player Streamed Ten Hours A Day For His Father’s Cancer Treatment

User zyiTV said that streaming games like Fortnite for 10 hours or more in hopes of earning money requires some charitable investments from unfamiliar people. The site Twitch needs the streamer to be a minimum of thirteen years of age. However it is unclear how old zyiTV is. Irrespective of the troubles he is going through he began making rounds over the internet as one of his streams went viral of Reddit. During one of the sessions the boy turned on the chat to talk about the state of plight his family is in.

His dad was at first diagnosed with stage 3 cancer in September 2018 but it reached his lungs and liver pushing him into level 4 diagnosis. He wrote “His cancer spread to his lungs and liver which brought him to stage 4 cancer. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy. These are the circumstances that the doctors gave him: No chemo one-year death three years chemo 20% live. Please donate anything you possibly can. All money will go towards funding his medication. Much love from me and all of my family members.”

The young boy’s family said that they are all very proud of his dedication and efforts. They are all very touched seeing the support their family is receiving from the gaming community. In one of the streaming sessions his dad joined in to talk about his illness and the troubles it has been creating for him such as leaving him bedridden for days.

Several Reddit and Twitter users have praised the kid and have also pointed out that it is sad to see the state of this kid and him losing his innocence because relying on unknown people is hardly ever a safe option.
