Hospital Dressed Newborns Like Frozen 2 Characters
The staff of Saint Luke’s South Hospital posted the most adorable pictures of the newborns dressed up as Elsa Anna and Olaf the fictional characters of the iconic Disney movie. These photographs were posted on Facebook on 21st November. The caption of the post read: ‘Here’s a little something from the maternity ward at Saint Luke’s South to warm your heart. #Frozen2.’ This post received lots of love and hundreds of likes from the general public.
In another post which had multiple pictures of these kids the caption read: ‘Let them in! Let them see! For the first time in forever our babies of Saint Luke’s South are dressing up for the release of #Frozen2. Anna Elsa and Olaf are here and they like warm hugs. Remember love is always an open door at Saint Luke’s. Don’t let it go!’ The hospital explained that they had never done this before and this was the first time that they dressed up the newborns as fictional characters.
A video was also posted by the hospital staff which showed these little babies getting tucked into their crocheted attire. Well the babies were quite happy too as it didn’t seem like they minded their new clothes.
Lauren Gifford the hospital spokesperson said that they wanted to do something new and different for the parents of the newly-born. In an interview to CNN he told “We wanted to do something really fun and memorable for our regular maternity families. The opening of Frozen 2 which so many people were excited about felt like an opportunity to do something creative and unique.”
This is not the first time that Saint Luke’s hospital has celebrated a theme day but this might have been the first Frozen theme day celebrated anywhere. They have been dressing up newborns with costumes to celebrate holidays since many years. Each year be it Christmas Halloween or Valentine’s day the maternity ward comes to life when these tiny little babies are dressed up in new wardrobes.
Kids who were dressed as Elsa Anna and Olaf have now gone to their home and are doing good. He added that their moms were also thrilled and happy to participate in dressing up their kids. They loved this idea and were very excited. The hospital also gave these babies their costumes so that they could remember their first photo shoot which was so unique and sweet in its own way.
