One gamer left no stone unturned to make sure that his gaming chum gets to play with the new console. Reddit user ghost_knight1121 shared that when the person with whom he played for fifteen years couldn’t get PS5 he chipped in and got him one.

He shared a picture of the same with a caption “Been gaming with this dude for 15 years. Since Rainbow Six Vegas on 360. I have some good gaming memories with him. He tried but couldn’t get one. Little did he know I was able to get him one. Looking forward to playing another generation with him.”

He expressed in the comment box his mate’s inefficiency in ordering PS5 but to his advantage he was able to pre-order two of them and gave one to his mate out of his giving-nature.

This magnanimous deed received a huge positive response from the Reddit users. A user expressed how sweet he felt after knowing this. A person commented “Wholesome! Wishing you guys many more happy years of gaming.” A person had a viewpoint that the world needs more of such generous people.

PlayStation boss Jim Ryan revealed that it was like a rollercoaster to release the PS5 during the pandemic. He added “The most extraordinary thing is all of this has taken place in 2020. The one thing I’ve learned is I’ll never do this again in a pandemic.”

Ryan shared that the company was shocked to receive such a response to pre-orders. He disclosed the fact that they are making more PS5 in the pandemic than they made during the launch of PS4. He also apologized to the customers in case there was any delay caused by the company to reach ends.

He further expressed that the team is working hard to increase the supply of PS5 in the market before and after Christmas.
