Dave Bautista the actor who plays the character of Drax the Destroyer revealed the fact that James Gunn wanted a film with Drax and Mantis (Pom Klementieff). But Disney could never fit it in its release schedule. However James Gunn is not done with the idea. He is still looking forward to the adventures of Drax and Mantis.

We can clearly understand the sentiments that James Gunn has of seeing Drax and Mantis together. We have also seen their co-ordination and bonding in Guardian of Galaxy series. Seeing them together will be a fun for all the fans. This is a feeling we could easily relate with.

This is the right kind of perspective for the Disney+ series. This movie will fulfill the requirements of Disney and will be liked by the people as well. However this movie has a long way to go and we might not be seeing it the forthcoming marvel releases.

The only issue with the idea is the Bautista statement. He is not willing to do the series James Gunn is looking forward to. He said that playing a role would be difficult with all the fuss of makeup and everything.

We could understand his perspective and issues. But if we assume by seeing one of the Marvel shows like The Wanda Vision we can conclude that one season’s time duration is more or less close to the duration of the movie.

If the duration of one season is close to the duration of the movie then we can hope that Bautista can be convinced of the show given the fact that the storyline is nice. And of course if it will be in the guidance of James Gunn.

The storyline of Drax and Mantis could go at great lengths. The possibilities of the movie are infinity. The story could go from one end to another. One of the best storylines could be Drax meeting his long-lost daughter Moondragon. Although their relationship is not explained properly in the comics. But Marvel Studios has the habit of twisting and turning the stories for more action.

One of the storylines could also be Drax meeting his wife. Drax has been married to one of the former avengers popularly known as Swordsman. She is yet to appear in any of the Marvel movies. Her cameo can be a mode of excitement for fans. Nonetheless Mantis also has a very wild comic history. We could rely on her comic stories as well for a better movie.

Optimistically this idea of Drax and Mantis gets above the concept. The fans are always ready to have a good show. If something happens then it will be a great news for the lovers of Marvel movies.
