People get inked and the designs vary a lot. The inspiration mostly comes from the internet unless someone is creative enough to come up with an idea that is unique in every way.

You might not have encountered many such creative tattoo designs. This guy’s QR code tattoo deserved the award for the best tattoo, however, things didn’t go his way.

Argentina’s River Plate soccer team fan wanted to celebrate their win by getting inked. He got a QR code tattooed which when scanned will lead you to the YouTube video of the big victory. Impressive incorporation of technology in art!

The excitement around this tattoo didn’t last long. While the supporters of the winning team were appreciating this, the fans of the competitor team were not pleased with it at all. They started commenting under the video telling the owner to delete it due to copyright infringement.

It started on a fun note, but the end was distressing for the man who got the tattoo as the video disappeared!

The video focused on the Copa Libertadores final goals against Boca Juniors. However, it was taken down soon after the tattoo got viral. The account through which the video was published made it private to avoid any issue revolving around copyright.

We are not sure what this fan would have done about that ink on his leg which absolutely looks like a QR code, but does not solve the purpose of one. He will have to carry it off for quite long and answer people’s questions. He has a story to tell!
